Memoirs of an Outsider Who Witnessed the Carnage at Jonestown, Guyana

by Jeffrey Brailey

The author is the only member of the Joint Humanitarian Task Force that went in to Guyana on November 20, 1978 who has written a book about the Jonestown mission. He is a retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant and has been writing for newspapers and periodicals around the world for more than 30 years. He has composed commentaries on military and veterans affairs, POW/MIA issues, health care, cults and cult abuse, and other contemporary social issues.

Aside from a 20 year career as a professional soldier, Brailey has worked as an animal handler, sanitation worker, security guard, child protective services specialist, safety coordinator, medic / nurse, administrator, trainer, and photographer. During his military career he did tours in Vietnam, and Panama and served temporarily in Guyana and Egypt. Since his retirement, he has worked on offshore drilling and construction sites in West Africa, and the Middle East.

Brailey's dream of becoming an author came to fruition with the publication of his masterful work of nonfiction, THE GHOSTS OF NOVEMBER. He is the editor-in-chief of J&J Publishers.
